BOOKING:
As our calendar fills up quickly, we suggest you book with us several months in advance to ensure your date is available.
CUSTOM CAKES:
Because we hand craft every custom cake, it is suggested that you book with us several weeks in advance so we can ensure adequate time for materials to be ordered and handcrafted decorations are set.
We do require 50% of the total to be paid as a retainer to secure your date. This fee is non-refundable.
You will not be put on our calendar until this retainer has been paid. The remainder of the total is due two weeks before the big day.
CARE AND INSTRUCTIONS:
We create your cakes/cookies/cupcakes with the proper support in place, but cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur after good leave our bakery.
You or the party picking up your cake will be required to sign off that everything has been made to your liking and you're satisfied with the product. Once the cake/goods leave our our property there will be no changes made to the product.
Cakes are quite fragile and require care during transport. We always recommend you set them on a secure, flat surface like your floorboard or back of SUV to ensure safe travel.
It is your responsibility to safety get your cakes home in one piece. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur during transport.
We also recommend placing goods in the refrigerator for safe keeping once you've reached your event destination.
Our cakes are made with real ingredients and they harden in the refrigerator so we recommend bringing cakes out of the refrigerator before serving to allow them to come to room temperature. They taste best this way.
If these instructions are not followed, the cake may be too cold when served and this can be misconceived for dry cake. However, if the cake sits out all day at room temperature, the buttercream begins to melt and sag and the cake is no longer pristine for your event.
DELIVERY:
We deliver to Rocky/Eckville/Sylvan Lake and Red Deer every Friday. Mileage of $1/KM is charged for catering/cake special event orders.
